6 Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins
7 Lament - Maggie Stiefvater
8 Scarlett Fever - Maureen Johnson
9 An Abundance of Katherines - John Green

Now that I changed it from one-hundred books to fifty, I am about half way there!

Today was an overall not so good day. We had a 90 minute delay for school*, and I ended up missing the only class I actually wanted to go to. Odd for me, it was gym. I'm your stereotypical picked last, un-fit, non-sports person you'll meet, except for volleyball. I actually enjoy playing volleyball. Plus, I'm pretty alright at it!

When we did get to school, I started my day off with a Latin test, which I probably didn't do so hot on, and Algebra II. That class could make me unhappy after winning the lottery. It's kind of lame, but that class almost makes me cry a lot, and out teacher is not understanding at all to people who don't understand. So, I've already started looking into Kenyan College, even though I'm a lowly freshman, because I've heard they have no math requirement.

Then, we left early from school, only it wasn't really early. We have mandatory after school programs from 2:45-3:55, and we got to leave at 2:30. I basically had to go to school for the sucky part of the day.

When I got home, I hung out for a bit and had grinders and sundaes with the parents! Fun stuff, especially since the mom told me I can skip work/school with her on Friday! Blog update, anyone?

really, i need sleep!

*We should have had no school, but I go to a magnet school, so the people in my town (where I live) have February/April break, whereas the school/town where I go has March. When we have snow, students go by the town they live in first, and then by the town the school is in. The school is in a city, so they don't cancel school often, where as I live in a suburban town where the do. I realize that is confusing and probably makes no sense whatsoever.

untitled because i currently lack creativity

I am a bad blogger!
I used to update almost every day, and now I take way too much time to update. It's probably because I'm obsessing over the website Polyvore! If you'd like, you can see my profile here. I also just finished watching ALL of the Brotherhood 2.0 videos. It was a massive task, and I feel like I have nothing to do anymore.

I think I neglected to mention that I was in auditions for our next play, Metamorphoses. Well, last monday the cast list went out! I didn't get the part that I wanted, but I'll be playing the First Laundress, Oread, and Pomona. The play is going to be really cool, especially because when you buy the rights to the play, you have sign something saying you'll use a pool in your production. Not only will that be visually pleasing and fun to be in, my elective in school is Set Construction, so I get to help BUILD IT! Our rehearsals start March 15th, and I'm very excited!

Now, most people have school vacation this week, but I don't, so updates will probably still be slow. However, there is a storm coming in, so I very well might be home tomorrow! Also, I might skip on Friday and hang out with the mother!

p.s.
Due to my failure, the 100 Book Challenge has now been changed to the 50 book challenge. If I complete that this year, next year I'll do the 75 book challenge, and after the 100 book challenge.

ahh this was one minute from being published at 11:11

I have a follower! *sqeee*

Anyways, today I have no school! We were supposed to get more than a foot of snow, and it's 11:00, and no sign of snow. Not that I'm complaining, I really don't like snow so much, actually. It's not so much the snow as it the snow means its less than 32 degrees outside. So, I am in my house on my laptop, about to eat some pizza (it smells REALLY good!).

I had the worst morning, for some reason, I just could NOT stay asleep. I woke up the time I would for school, and somehow I was wide awake . . . it was strange.

But onto more interesting things, I still haven't talked about the lion king! I found a few pictures of it online, since I obviously couldn't take any of my own.

Again, I did not take this picture, I do not own it or anything that it's related to. I got it here.

But, on another note, it was amazing. I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The costumes were beautiful, and overall the staging was perfect. Since my family doesn't go see shows very often, we try to get good seats to the ones we do go to. We were in the third row! I'd never gotten to be so close to the stage in a show, and it was a great experience. With this show, though, sitting back further would be just as cool because of the masks! Where we sat, we focused more on the actors faces, but further back you would get the feel that the masks were actually part of them. So, if you live in or around any of the dates in the link from the last post, you should definitely go! And, if you happen to be reading this, and you have seen the show, tell me what you think!

In the meantime, I'm keeping my eyes here.
